Why they don't have these packaged together is beyond me. The comments you read about them not fitting together or being too small is because you only have the bed side hinges. They are not supposed to fit together. You need both Dorman 38645 for gate and 38640 for bed to replace the hinges. They should all be packaged together. Thus the 3 stars.

I was so happy to find the tail gate hinges. I thought that I would have to buy a whole tailgate. Other competitors didn't offer the complete set as you did. They went on pretty easy. The old ones came off the truck bed easy but had to grind off the welds on the tailgate itself to get the old ones off. However the new ones went on very easy and matched perfectly.
