I purchased 3 sets of Moog from different Advance Auto stores in hopes of getting the correct part. None of them included a hole for the attaching bolt to go into. When I tried this part (same number, see photo!) It worked first time!

Needed to get inner tie rod ends since the outers decided to become one with the inners on my 2002 Passat. Advanced had the best price for in stock tie rod ends, and they're WAY cheaper than OEM. These were delivered fast and they fit perfectly. The only con I have is the fact that the inside fitting of the tie rod is larger than the actual 'nut' end where you attach the tie rod tool. The stock ends allow for the tool to just slide over the entire tie rod and lock up onto the nut to loosen. These require you to take the actual socket piece out of the tool, slide the tool up over the fitting, and then insert the socket to loosen/tighten the tie rod. Not a big deal, but just enough to be a pain when you're in cramped quarters. Overall 4/5.

I ordered 3 pair of these and not one set had a hole for attachment bolts like original. Had to go with the less cost Driveworks which does not have grease fitting! See photo!
