      1st starter was bad. I then had to travel to next nearest city because the store I purchased it from. Did not have any more to exchange it with. At last the 2nd starter did work, so far. I guess its hit and miss when purchasing any remanufactured parts?

      The starter I purchased was bad. I ended up having to have my vehicle towed and a shop replaced the starter with a good one at a shop. Advanced auto did not care and made no effort to effort to assist with the process. I have been promised a gift card and a discount. But have not received either. Too much trouble and too little help. As stated you and your rep suck

      It's only been installed one day but so far so good. It fit perfectly on my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 RWD. It's a strong starter. The original starter had been on there 25 years, so the two bolts were difficult to remove, especially the top one, even with penetrating oil. The new starter comes with new nuts and washers for the positive and negative terminals.
