The wheels of my car are always clean.
Had mechanic install on 1999 Lexus RX 300 with 200 k + miles. New rotors too. Took a 1500 mile trip afterwards. Worked great and very quiet.

Achebono brake pads are great, fit perfect no squeaking better than OEM! So glad you carry them! Even though they were not in store delivery was super fast!!!!
From Longmont CO
I installed these on a Lexus RX300. These pads are not the cheapest but I went with them because of the rotor friendliness promise. We will see about that, I haven't had them long enough yet. Installation was a breeze as usual, most pads are simple and easy. Friction seems to be the same as OEM, and there is no noise. I don't use ceramic pads normally because they tend to have low friction (they are hard for long life) and they wear out the rotors instead of wearing down themselves. These seem to be soft enough to have a good grip, so I hope the rotors will be fine too.

This is my second set of Akebono brakes on my RX300. They are quiet and low dust with better than OEM stopping power. They are better than other Pads I have purchased.

Seems to be OE quality. Brakes are better than the old shoes. Make sure to check for correct Camry VIN and verify whether car was made in the USA or Japan to get correct part #.

The pads looked and fit great. OEM to the max. The item as pictured shows the 2 sets of 4 each small accessory clips that the pad rides on when moving back and forth when the brake is applied. My set did not come with these clips and I used the old ones after I sand blasted them to get a smooth finish. I had no time to get a new set in the middle of the brake job. Probably a packaging error. Almost all of mt Advance auto purchases are fine and if not they are rectified easily and promptly. This was a bit disappointing, but certainly not a deal breaker. This brand of pad has always done well by me in the past.
Very easy to install and works smoothly when stopping. It had all of the break assembly parts in closed.

I purchased these pads along with new rotors for my 2002 Lexus RX300. Install was simple as usual. Great. However, once they were installed, the brakes made a terrible grinding noise that would not go away. People would look at me on the street as I drove by them. It was terrible. It sounded like I had old rotors and pads installed instead of all new hardware. I've installed countless brakes over the years, and I've never seen a set act this poorly. I am hoping to return them for a different brand. Perhaps I got a bad set??? Ultimately, I now have the hassle of doing a second brake job on my car to remove these. I was amazed these ceramic brakes acted like this. I've only had wonderful experiences from using ceramic pads in the past with other vehicles.
