For it to be a Drive Works brand axle bearing it seems to work great. An exact Fit. The first one I put in there lasted six years before I had to change it out.

These felt better in hand than other brands in the store. Seem to be of decent quality. Price was competitive as well. My truck has the 9.75" rear end but uses the bearings from the 8.8". Axle tubes actually taper down near the hub. How weird.

My old bearing were probably ok, but I had to replace leaking seals. I decided that while I was in the neighborhood, I should go ahead and replace the bearings just to be safe. They fit the rear axle on my 95 Explorer perfect and work great! Larry

Bearing would have worked but as others have mentioned because it sticks out of the differential housing it does not allow the axle to go into the carrier far enough to put the c-clip back on the axle. I was installing on a 2010 Mustang GT with posi rear. There is an S shaped Spring/clip that holds the spider gears in place, because of the S spring there is no way to get the c-clip back on the axle. I am certain the bearing was all the way in and we cleaned the back of the axle with a wire brush. The c-clip will go on about half way then get stuck on the S Spring. Ended up replacing the axles and using FRP bearings. We could have forced the c-clip on the axle but if we did that there would have been no way to ever get the c-clips back off should the rear ever require service again. Check your carrier before you buy these, if you don't have the S Sping holding your spider gears it will work.

Doesn't state if u still need a seal with it or is it's double seal design cover it? If u still need a seal then ur missing out on a advertising opportunity to make more money Instead of ppl finding out they still need to order a seal an don't get it from advanced because y would anyone.

Bearings fit just right and seem to be heavy duty and I expect them to perform like the original for another 200,000 miles.

Supposed to fit 8.8 Ford (crown Vic in my case) TOO big!!!!! Won' fit. Broke when removed it. My bearing install tool was complaining to me! Got the National 5707 and it was perfect. Avoid these products, even the seal was a touch big, but I made it work.

Tried two sets on two different 98-02 Firebird/Camaro's. The outer race measured .003 larger than the National bearings. Would not install without excessive force. Once in the axle they lasted less than 30 miles before failure.

Do not buy. Bearing will fit in axle, but you won't be able to install c-clips. Has to be cut in pieces to be removed.
