I suggest replacing these with the oil cooling lines.
This is the correct part for a 2000 tahoe z71 5.7 vortec with oil cooler adapter. Changed the same time i did the gasket. Worked great. You need two. Most think they have a rear main seal when its really these two fittings and the top gasket leaking. Comes with inner orings.
needed for my truck , advance had the parts in stock, no waiting.

Parts fit with perfection. The only trouble l had was with the clips and pulling the lines out of the oil filter assy. To remove the lines, place a clamp around the metal area turn downward while pulling outward, or with vice grips clamped on well, tap with a hammer or other tool briskly. Be sure to keep the old clips, as they pop off and fly, who knows where, l lost two, never found them. Be sure to shoot sure penetrating oil on the radiator fittings. And you should also replace the fittings to the oil filter assy. the "o" rings supposedly wear out over time. This takes a 20mm wrench or socket, a 1" socket will also work well.
