Amazing shocks and very much worth the money. They work great for a tow rig. My K2500 Suburban is a dream to tow with now vs the standard gas shocks. There's a lot less dolphin tailing and the ride is nice and stiff. Pulling my car trailer is almost unnoticeable on the hitch.

I put these Sensa-Trac Load Adjusters on the sagging rear of my 97 Yukon. They raised it back up about 1.5" and stiffened the ride just the way I like.

I have a 97 Yukon with 220k miles. Put on the standard Monroe Senca-trac. They were good until I needed to pull a trailer or camper. So I bought these and they met my expectations. Very helpful to see the comment about fastening one top bolt first, move the shock to the side (will do so with the rubber bushing), fasten the second bolt on top. Finish by compressing the lower end ( I used a jack ) then line up the lower holes and tighten the bolt and nut. It did work like a charm.

Rancho shocks were placed on the rear of my old 2003 Sonoma truck. It now rides like new and carries the loads placed in the bed much better than it has for years. There is no sway or bounce and even when loaded, the truck rides level front to back.

I find the boot to be ackward. The boot material seems strong but the fit is not good and the silly tie wrap they provide is cheap looking. I fear that the tie wrap will fall off soon and then the boot will come loose.

Looks like a shock. Functions like a shock. Bolted into the Suburban with no difficulties and made a huge difference over the rusty, blown out OEM ones.

I have a 1994 full-size BLAZER Sport with 147,000 miles on it. I have had this vehicle since it was new. I installed my first set of MONROE Gas-Matic LT shock absorbers in 2004 at 65,000 miles to replace the factory shocks. Even though the Monroe Gas-Matics still performed fine, I figured that 8 years and 82,000 miles was asking enough out of a shock absorber. Being well satisfied with the quality and performance of these shocks, I ordered the same part numbers (59582 + 59520) for replacement. Installation was a breeze both times. (TIP: Use a jack to lift the vehicle since these shocks are gas-filled and expand to their full length.) Even though the old shocks were 8 years old with 82,000 miles on them, there were no gas/oil leaks, no worn bushings, or even any rust. After installing the new shocks, I did notice some improvement in ride, a little better feel for the road, and the steering felt more precise. I'm very happy with these shocks, and, as long as they last, this will probably be the last set I will need for my BLAZER!

Very hard to put the boot on and they get stretched out so far you have to glue it on the top of the shock

I put these on my 97 Yukon end it feels amazing. Everything stop rattling, the steering straightened out, and the bumps are nothing. Spend the extra money it will be really worth it. Lifetime warranty is good to know I have and I know I can haul a trailer.

Bought these to remove the "sag" that is common with the Express vans. Took less than an hour to remove the old factory shocks and put these bad boys on. Rasied the bumper a full 2 inches as soon as the the jacks were let down. The ride is 10 times better, the "sag" is gone completely that was there even with just a standard load. I couldn't be more pleased and saved over $300 from what the mechanic shop wanted to install these shocks. They do come 2 to a pack so when ordering just select one.

I wanted something cheaper than air ride suspension to tow a toy hauler. These over load shocks are the bomb.I changed them out in my driveway, however, would have been easier with second person. Be sure to block the front wheels and use jack stands to help support the job.Just follow the instruction sheet supplied. Job took me 2.5 hours.DONE

I have a '99 Tahoe with 156k miles on it. I bought it from a Chrysler dealer when it had 15k miles on it so I can't say for certain that the Bilsteins that these new shocks replaced were original. These new shocks are slightly smaller in diameter and have different valving. After 156k miles I expected the Bilsteins to be completely flaccid but they're still pumped up (gas shocks) and offer considerable resistance in both bounce and jounce. The new shocks sefl-extended slower, but they have a greater resistence in jounce so that explains that. The new shocks have less initial bounce valving which I thought would cause the truck to roll in a turn more, but the opposite seemed to be true once I got back on the road. Maybe the bounce valving is progressive. On the road the ride is smoother because the lighter bounce valving lets the wheels ride over bumps easier. The truck definitely doesn't wallow in the turns and undulating bumps as much as before so the new (smaller) shocks seem to have done their job - and cheaply.

When purchasing shocks and struts I first look for Monroe products. They may be a little higher priced, but you get what you pay for. They are worth the little extra in the long run.

Monroe always has good shocks and these are a nice step up from the stock OE shocks on our 2007 GMC full size van. I used the order on line and pick-up at the store process. Worked great! I saved time wandering around by knowing exactly which store had the shocks in stock and found an on line coupon that saved me money.

Listed as an exact fit for 1997 Chevrolet Suburban 2500. First, there is no way to get a socket on the bolt because the body is wider than the bolt pattern on the shock absorber. Second, the body of the shock absorber is too large to fit into place on the vehicle. Had to return them.
