From reading pa
first off your instructions $%^&. the strut mate mounting mounting kit tells u to read the instructions that came with the shock. The shock instructions only shows u a diagram of the shock copied from the eagle service manual (i have the manual the pictures are identical. Thus there is no documentation on how to install the strut mate mouting kit. the strut mate boot kit is missing (a) retaining ring and (e) plastic tie is missing for each shock (ie qty 2). My question is what keeps the boot from slipping down the shaft. My next qustion is there suppose to a washer between the bumper and the bottom of the strut mate mounting kit. Nothing on you tube on monroe web site to help address this. If I knew this upfront would have both something else. I am working with a high tension spring and I hope I get it right the 1st time. I do not want to compressthis spring and have to do it a second time.
