Direct fit replacement so easy to use I had my 16year old son replace both left and right sides price was good we didn't have any of the bolt issues others had with them striping out I will say that the the bolts are strait cut on the end not tapered so they will easily cross thread if you don't know what your doing when starting the nuts not at all uncommon for to today's fasteners on late model vehicles very pleased with them

It went on easy. No problems with the bolts or nuts stripping out. Fit exactly the same as the old one. Would recommend and would use this item again.

I own a 1994 Toyota Corolla 5 speed with 220000 miles. For a while I had been noticing a bit of a rattle when I drove over rough surfaces. I figured it was possibly a strut going bad and didn't pay too much attention to it. The noise was most noticeable when I was turning left (sound came from front end, right side of car). About a week ago I started to get some 'sway' whenever I straightened out from a left-hand turn. One night my son was driving the car and pulled in to a shop to get a sandwich. As he entered the parking space he heard a bang and a clunk. I showed up about 15 minutes later expecting a tire issue of some sort. The ball joint had separated and the hub was no longer attached to the lower arm. Subsequent to the ball joint failing, the axle broke (snapped in two). After pushing the car into a parking space using a floor jack (front wheel would not roll as it was now bound up against the trailing edge of the wheel well) I returned home ordered a replacement ball joint and axle online through Advance that night. The next morning my brother ran to pick up the parts for me while I waited for the tow truck in the parking lot where my son had broken down. Once I had the car back at my brother's garage, it took just a few hours to replace the ball joint and axle. Unfortunately, while carefully installing the ball joint, the first nut I tried to tighten stripped out. I ended up having to reuse the nuts from the old ball joint which worked just fine. To me, this is indicative of extremely poor quality when it comes to the Driveworks brand name and I will absolutely be avoiding buying any of their components in the future. I would also recommend that Advance find another vendor to supply their 'economical' line of suspension components and any other parts with the Driveworks name.
