Upgraded design works great
It's been 40 miles, of course it works. Not happy how one box says Made In USA and the other box says Made In China, which is it? Is it the same as the Driveworks $10 bearing, it looks like it. Also not happy how parts like this that are usually replaced in pairs but every store within 50 miles only stocks one. About the bearing and reading other reviews, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! WHEN PROPERLY INSTALLED THERE IS APPROX 1/4 INCH OF THE BEARING STICKING OUT OF THE HOUSING.
Part of the same drama, one part in my order was already used, I was accused of changing out my used one for the new one and then trying to dupe them for $37, after spending nearly $600.... no sense.

Once installed you can't slide the axle shaft far enough to put the c clip back in. This product is useless.
From Cherry Hill
Bearings, once installed, will not let axle flange seat enough so that C clips (that hold the axle shaft in place) can be inserted. This happened to be on a 2004 Marauder. Car repair shop looked up the bearing p/n using their own resources, and found that if you had ABS, this bearing was not for this car, or any 2003-2005 Panther chassis product. No warning of this in Advance Auto listing data. Then the bearings jammed in the axle tube after the shafts were removed. Had to use torch very carefully to get them out. Cost me an extra $150 in labor. I have used Timkin repair bearings in the past, and they worked just fine. Not this brand. Don't skimp - get a better brand.
Bottom Line not recommended
only marked 3 stars because i was unable to use. as a home mechanic bearings are hard enough to put in as it is, let alone the combo. i did and would advise to put in the bearings and seal separately. great idea though!

From Afton, Virginia
Add specified rear wheel bearings, but front wheel bearing were sent. Now I'm stuck with a pair of front wheel bearing that I had to pay packing and shipping for and they are useless.
