This is not a direct replacement for jeep yj that requires 4 mounting bolts. This only has 3 bolt holes. Lares says Jeep never made a box for wrangler with 4 bolt mounting. I disagree.

I bought this box to replace my worn 130k mile steering box and this lares gearbox has more play in it than my factory one did right out of the box. No way was this ever tested they just spray painted it halfway and put it in a box. Don't buy!

Works great, easy to put in. Loud till all the air is out of it and that took a short ride. I searched for a long time before buying the Laris one and I'm glad I did.
