I was a little put off because when I was doing my research to decide whether to buy these I ran into a few remarks that they can leak and aren't long enough to replace my car's bleeders. They fit fine with room to spare. I'm not sure how they would leak. They are exactly like stock bleeders with a solid cone to seal. The only difference is a check valve at the exit. If you tighten them down the same as stock (I use 6 ft-lbs) then they should seal the same. I put them on, bled my refurbished calipers and so far so good.

Online ordering is easy; however, the last three purchases from Advance have shown the wrong parts for my vehicles. It amazes me each time how such a big company can be this inept.

Needed one of these fast after I rounded off a bleeder screw from a brand new Wearever caliper. Appears to have fit fine, but the nipple opening is narrower than the originals on the car. An issue if you use a tube to tightly fit around one nipple that may be too big for the other side. I bled this side first, then stretched the hose to fit the other side.

Even though website said it was compatible with the vehicle, it was not. Luckily I had the old ones with me and saw the difference before even opening the package.

These bleeders allow you to leave the bleeder open while you pump the brake pedal to force fluid through the brake line. The check valve in the bleeder prevents air from entering the brake line when you release the brake pedal. However, it is not entirely a 1 man process. You still need someone to watch the bleeder to verify when all the air bubbles are out of the wheel you are bleeding. Also, the pressure required to push the check ball open is aquired easily by stepping on the pedal but you may not create enough pressure using the pressurized bleeding systems that force fluid through the master cylinder. Typically those systems use 10 - 15 pounds of pressure that may not be enough to open the spring loaded check ball in the bleeder screw. I have not tried vacuum bleeding with this style bleeder screw but vacuum bleeders utilize 10 pounds of pressure also.
