I have never replaced shock absorbers before. The ride on my "new to me" 2004 Dodge Dakota was bouncier than I was comfortable with. I bought these shocks in the hopes they would take care of it. Not only did they get rid of the bounce, the handling and braking improved as well. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to improve or correct the issues previously mentioned.
