1994 F150 temp gauge quit working and this fixed it. Truck has the 5.8 engine and this part was easy to replace.

The temperature sensor works the way it should. The previous sensor on my truck showed the engine was running hot. I knew it wasn't so I started with the sensor and the problem went away with the gauge showing the engine is running in the normal range.

1995 Ford Ranger Extended Cab 3.0l 6. Temp gauge would indicate little temp. when warmed up. Tried thermostat that did not solve problem. Tried this temp sending unit and gauge started to indicated normal temp.. Solved my problem.

Fit my 1995 Ford F150 5.0 XLT perfectly and fixed my sending gauge issue of the needle staying at "C". Would recommend... at least for my vehicle.

Part was listed as "exact fit" but it isn't. The threaded output is too fat, so the stock wire connector will not fit, which means you have to hack up your wires in order to use this part
