Works as intended for a replacement. You just need to be aware it is not keyed like OEM so you could put it 1n 180 degrees out of phase (it won't go all the way in but you could bend the connectors). It is manufactured larger to allow it to fit over the keyed section. This leaves a big space on the keyed side that can allow moisture into the connectors and corrode. I intend to use Dow Corning DC4 dielectric compound to seal this section of the connection. At the very least ensure the relay hangs with the open side facing down so that even if it gets a little wet it can drain.

Biggest problem I had was getting the old relay off the mounting rail in the 1991 Cougar. New one snapped into place, plugged up, and now we have ABS brakes again (this unit replaced a failed ABS pump motor relay.) Only con - and being a universal replacement I understand why! - is that this relay isn't brown, like the old ABS relay was (to help identify it in the cluster of relays it's in.) So I wrapped some brown electrical tape around it to help identify it in six months or so.
