Bought this for my 88 Silverado. I converted from R12 to R134a. The compressor was a pain to remove the replacement I bought fit well. The pulley works... however $400 in the hole right now and the AC doesn't work. The compressor clutch hasn't engaged once. I have changed from high pressure switches to low pressure switches, Tried Freon and everything, Honestly I went this route to bypass a $850 mechanics bill for a pulley squeaking because the barrens where going out. Now I'm going to just go to a shop to see if someone can fix this thing. I'm more annoyed by the amount of un-necessary Freon I have bought and all the extras on what should have been a simple swap, vacuum, and fill job. If its the compressor in the end... I'm just going to laugh... and pay more money for more work.

Purchased ACDelco thinking it was the best. Compressor started good, then went bad. Only lasted for 15-20 mins. Knocks, rattles, makes so much noise can't stand it. Recommend buying a "scroll" drive R4 compressor
