    long term Jeep CJ project so item has not been put into use yet. I experienced some degree of difficulty in receiving the right product. I placed the on-line order with a store that showed two on hand. One was in the original box, the other had been repackaged with the part number hand-written on the box. That evening when I opened the boxes to install the parts I discovered that the repackaged item was an upper ball joint, not the heavy duty lower ball joint that I had ordered. I called the store and was directed to another store which listed the correct part as being on hand. I exchanged the wrong part for the new one after confirming that it was indeed a lower ball joint, since it too had been repackaged. However, upon comparing it to the good ball joint I discovered it was standard quality, not the heavy duty I had purchased. I took both of the ball joints to the store closest to my house and the manager took the back and ordered the correct part for me and got it in the next day. I am pleased that someone could give me the parts I actually ordered but any savings were negated by the time and gas money spent on getting the order right.

    Does fit properly on any ball joint press from any store. Can be installed but requires some unconventional and sketchy procedures to do so. The head where the cup sits when being pressed on is too bulky and risks splitting the press cup outwards. This should have been checked when redesigning the ball joint. The factory ball joint fits in the press just fine. The new ball joint does not.

    As stated the grease fitting will interfere if left in but comes with a plug. After install grease it and swap out zerk for the plug. Had adjustment sleeve. Install was smooth. Can't complain for a budget ball joint.

    Upper balljoint 1 was right one was wrong the grease fittingwas on the bottom witch hit on the axle joint had to take it back apart and bought one from another vender the other one was fine the fitting came out of the upper side plenty of clearence.

    Very poorly made and the nut is completely the wrong size. For some reason the adjustment sleeve needed to be moved to make it work, first time i have ever had to adjust that and i have changed many sets of these ball joints. The grease fitting is even cheap and will not retain the grease, i had to change the fitting with a new one.
