The flange or lip around the edge of the pan was not bent to 90 degrees so in spots I had to take a ball peen hammer and finish the bend so that the pan could move over and the bolts holes line up.

Nice product. Fits perfectly on my '92 F150 i6 4 speed auto. Pain in the butt to install, but that's not a fault of the pan. Should have an option to buy with a gasket, but the FelPro one with the line up pins make for a little easier install. Some say you don't need to remove plenum or lift engine, but in the long run I think it's easier if you do. Got this one which was a little cheaper than the other one on the website. Not sure what the difference is, but this one was available for same day pick up. Seems fine

The pan is a better pan than the OEM. It's lighter; easier to install due to the sleeker design and the rim fits like a glove and when you invest in a 100% silicone gasket, oil tight. I just have one problem, I have a 5.9 big block in my 2002 Ram 1500. When I cranked the engine, the connecting rods were tapping the pan. It is too shallow for my model so beware and measure.
