So far, this has worked great. But since it has more power, you are required to install the plugs at a wider gap and then keep checking their color and adjusting till you get it right. Just be wwarned that it's not just drop-in plug and play.

Replaced the original equipment coil in a 1989 town car with the msd coil. The car no longer misfires. It now idles smooth and never stalls.I would recommend this coil to anyone who has a ignition problem or who wants an upgrade over stock.

Only issue that I saw was that it doesn't "click fit" to the ignition coil wire like the OE did. But that is not a huge deal.
