These are excellent when bleeding a break system by yourself. After bleeding the system you can remove and replace with the conventional bleeders and save these for your next brake job.
Perfect for my 97 expedition ,all 4 front and rear.
Have used Russell Speed Bleeders but they don't size for my application. I have bought these before and work fine.

Just what I needed to replace a striped bleeder screw that was heck to get out! After a little torching & water it came out with Vice grips...
I have an 87 F150 and bleed screws have been rounded off. These are replacements. Can't testify to the presence of a check valve. I shook one and didn't hear a ball rattling around. I bled in the normal manner. If there is a check valve in there raise this to 5 stars.

It seems Dorman uses cheap steel used in their bleeder screws...the heads stripped in no time during bleeding process! It seems Dorman takes no pride in its parts being that my previous experience with a Dorman gas tank rubber grommet completely deteriorated after the vehicle sat for a few months with gas in it.
replaced my corroded bleeder screws and it worked like a charm
