This Spectre polished aluminum oil pan is designed to fit 1955-’79 small block Chevrolet 283-350 engines with a driver’s side dipstick (except 1962-’67 Chevrolet II and Corvette with stock exhaust). This oil pan is made from a heavy die-cast polished aluminum featuring a finned diamond design. The stock oil capacity is maintained at 4 quarts and uses a 1975 and later gasket with thick front seal. The required mounting fasteners are included.

Because of the hex flange head design, it will not fall back into the socket wrench, allowing for easier installation.
