1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass with High Performance 455 cid engine. I had a copper/brass 4 core radiator with a 160 degree thermostat. Temperature was always around 160 mark. After 50 years, the radiator started to leak. I was needing a radiator until I could get my old one repaired, so I bought this one core aluminum radiator, (part number 433161), to be a temporary fix. I did have to buy a hose reducer to fit my lower radiator hose onto it, 1 1/3" to 1 1/2" (part number 76950) . Transmission lines are on a separate cooler, so I didn't need them and can't speak to them as far as hooking up, but seems that they would be a direct fit. Make sure you measure everything first. I also replaced the thermostat with a Mr. Gasket 160 degree thermostat, (part number 4363). I can't believe the result! The car now runs at about 150 degrees! This is a one core, plastic tanks/aluminum core radiator that is much, much lighter than the old 4 core and cools much more efficiently. I will now get rid of the 4 core and keep this one! I am very surprised and happy at the result! Also, on a side note, make sure you use a fan shroud to direct air through the radiator. This was one of my biggest problems that was solved years ago when I was first trying to keep the engine from running hot. Fan shrouds are VERY important I found out!

Bought for 1967 Olds 442 with auto trans. The radiator hoses fit ok, the trans cooling lines fit ok. Has a port near radiator cap for a temp sensor. Also looks like a port for trans cooler temp. It only has two core tubes but the tubes are twice as wide as the OEM so I guess it would compare to a four core. The end tanks are made of plastic like newer style OEM radiators. The bad part about the radiator is the OEM cradles at the top and bottom had to be pounded flat so it would fit and it was still very tight. If your looking for a drop in radiator with no modifications then this is not for you.

Inlet was 1.5" instead of 1.75" it is made to fit all GM models but doesn't fit anyone correctly. U.S. Radiators is were I ended up buying my last one and they are custom made with all your factory specifications required (4 speed, Air, Etc...)

1st radiator was defective looked opened and returned. Had a return sticker on box. you cant beat brass they say aluminum cools faster try to find someone to fix it or a plastic tank. I'll stick with brass you can repair it. durabilty cant beat it

Appears to be a decent piece, but it definitely does not fit the stock radiator mounts w/o some modification to the radiator core support.

I bought this product for my 1969 GMC 2500 truck with small block 350. This truck had the original 3 Core radiator which was leaking and freighted with sludge. The new radiator is less than half the weight. If your truck has the 3 core radiator mounts you will need to trim the rubber to get this to fit, or order the 4 core radiator mounts from big block trucks, or trucks with tow package. To my knowledge almost no new repop radiator on the market fits the 3 core mounts without some modification. I plan to order the 4 core mounts for the top and replace the current trimmed setup, but it looks factory as is when in place. The only thing I do not care for (which is common on most new radiators) is the lack of metal insert in the fill neck, and the plastic drain plug. I did not experience any leaks on initial test. Although I have not road tested the truck this is a 3 core radiator and being aluminum / copper instead of steel / copper should offer some slightly better performance than 40yr old technology. Bottom line worked, and price was cheap, but as with any old vehicle some modification is neccissary.

This radiator is constructed of aluminum and plastic, as most are in this price range these days. I had to fabricate mounts for the radiator, but that wasn't too much trouble nor did it come as a surprise to me. The bad radiator I removed from the truck was not the original or an 'exact fit replacement' radiator. I have no idea what vehicle the bad radiator came out of or was intended to fit. The new radiator is functioning well. A 3 star rating on this website is described as: "Average, Ordinary", which fits the bill for this radiator IMO. Oh yeah... a cool thing about this radiator is that there is a threaded brass female fitting (it comes plugged) in the right-hand tank that can be used to mount a temperature probe for use with an electric cooling fan. In this case I didn't need that feature but it is a cool option to have.
