    Installed in my 2007 BMW 750LI to replace the original BMW AGM battery which lasted over 11 years and still tested good by BMW with over 650 CCA available but weird electronic gremlins started to occur such as the stereo would cut off, car would hesitate or drive sluggish out of nowhere then return to normal. After 3 months of this I bought this battery online with a 30% off digital code and a $40 Speedperks reward I got from previously buying another battery for my Lexus. I did a personal self install without any power preservers with no problems and drove to my local BMW mechanic who charged me to "register" the new battery to reset the charging characteristics as well as recognize the higher 95 AH's of this battery. Wow what a difference in driving this made as the car has new life. Make sure you get it registered with the DME if you own a BMW as this is legitimately necessary.

    Bottom Line

    Good battery good price. However, this size is used in some fairly exotic/high tech cars (Audi, Jag). These cars have energy management systems that require input of certain battery characteristics in order to work right. To properly replace a battery in these cars you need a "BEM code" sticker. This battery does not come with one so you have to fool the the controller with fictional data. I would be far more inclined to buy a battery with the proper label so I can do the job right.

    Battery said "exact fit". It did not. So had to purchase another battery that the store I purchased original battery did NOT have in stock, drive across town to pick up, & although your signs and advertising says "free battery install". They refused to install it. Had to take it home & install myself! Never again!

    I was disappointed that the battery was made in 2015 and had the dust on it consistent with that. It was tested and needed charging, but that charging could not be done in the 15 minutes before closing, so I had to buy a charger to get it right before installation. It would have been nice if this was checked and charged when I reserved the battery with my credit card a number of hours earlier. The battery seems to be working fine since I charged and installed it.
