It looks like it should work but the one I got in an opened package didn't work. For the hassle of the install on the complete steering column wiring assembly the 40-60$ is a better use of time than switching just the cam hoping that the cam will work. Just my opinion.

Looked like it would work if made to fit my application. Catches were too short to latch. The part I received was not made to work for my application.

Made very cheaply. Plastic cam locks were flimsy and did not catch on the studs. Was a waste of time installing. The old one worked better than the new one.

I bought this for my 1974 Ford Ranchero thinking it would be an easy swap because it LOOKS identical in form to the OEM. Well...that's what I get for thinking.First, it doesn't come with the clips as shown, and I think that's pretty cheesy for [$]. After installation my left turn signal wouldn't work correctly. Worse yet I discovered that my brake lights didn't work at all.I thought I might have screwed the pooch on the install and went back in to recheck. Nothing I did could get the thing to work right so I bought a NOS Sheemar unit on ebay that was manufactured back in the day (which, by the way included two c-clips) for less than half the price and swapped them out. Now all works perfectly. It's possible that I just got a defective unit so I will be interested to see if anyone else that has installed one of these had any of the same issues.I do want to give a shout out to my local AA Store for letting me return it even though I was outside the return period. It's one of the reasons I am a long time customer.
