This may be a good pump never got to find out. The pump is a 1/4" taller than stock pump on 1982 351W. Verify with your old pump to check clearance don't assume it is the same as I did cost me a hole in my oil pan
Great pump, can't use it. I have a stock oil pan. I was told this will not fit. Plus if using stock oil pan, can sump it dry before oil has a chance to run back into it. Don't know, don't want to chance it.

This pump was a direct replacement with no issues. It added about 20 PSI to my high mileage original motor. No oil pressure issues anymore! Would definitely recommend this pump and brand.

I went on line and was very careful to make sure that the parts I ordered were described to fit my 351 modified engine. ater installing the oil pump I found that I had a major oil leak from the oil pan so I made sure the pan bolts were tight, but that was the problem the oil pump was deeper than my old one and the oil pan would not close. nNot only did I have to change the oil pump again but I had to have the oil pan repaired from the hole in it from the oil pump.
