    Sprays consistently. Dries fast. Doesn't smell too bad if you're outside. Used it only to patch so can't comment on the finish quality with a clear coat on top, but to cover some rust it seems to do the job by itself.

    This happens to be a perfect match to my white Volvo 1800. It was painted in the late -70 with a high end DuPont paint but it has problem with the old filler and primer. This paint allow me to sand down and repaint areas. Im very careful in sanding the primer back to the edge of the damage so that the primer is not showing in the feather area. It typically takes me two or three layers with a quick 400 wet sanding between then i finish with 800,1000, 1500, 2500 and then rubbing and polish. I done the whole door, both rear wheel arches and some smaller areas this way and it is impossible to see the repair. White is forgiving but this paints ability to feather makes it possible

    This color was supposed to be an exact match for my black Yukon and instead it came out gray. The color code was the correct code for my vehicle and the cap on the can matched the color of my vehicle. However, after following the instructions exactly, the paint came out gray and now my vehicle has two different color paints. I am now worse off than when I started. DO NOT BUY this if you are looking for black paint or trying to match paint code #8555. I contacted DupliColor corporate office/customer service and they informed me that DupliColor DOES NOT make a paint to match Paint Code #8555 regardless of what local vendors advertise on their websites.

    The Duplicolor Perfect Match Lacquer Paint was bought to restore a Tonka car. The color was very close to the original. Application was done over primer that had been sanded - just like repainting a real car. I applied three coats of paint followed by three coats of Duplicolor Clear Coat. One big benefit of using Duplicolor lacquer is there is no time window for applying the next coat as with enamels. As with any painting job, take your time, concentrate on the prep work, and follow the instructions; it will turn out well. The price is about $13 for an 8 ounce spray can. Plenty for small jobs but probably not enough to do a whole door panel.
