Works great. I just simply zip tied the Probe on the front side radiator and not through the fins. I had bad experience with putting stuff through the fins in the past and created a leak so for those not wanting to risk busting a leak just zip tie to side of radiator but on front part.I had 2 holes for condenser there and used that. Now as far as people complaining about the knob well that's not an issue for me. I'd rather not have a knob because if you do have a knob it's more of a risk of it accidentally getting bumped and the temperature either switching the fans on or off too early or too soon.

Simple to hook up and working great for two weeks now. I don't like poking things in my radiator so I mounted the sensor against the metal upper tank right under the upper rad hose and it picks up the temp change quick.

The relay got shorted out and almost caught on fire. Advance needs to offer better quality products. This is critical that it works and doesn't fail.

the art would have worked great for my application but someone purchased it and butchered up the wiring , I didn't notice it until I went to open it, there was box tape on the back and when I opened it up I seen a big glob of tape near the connector. went and returned it, they didn't have another in stock so that was that. I had this item before (not this one), but it worked great for my application.

This relay made my electric fan install easy. Instructions were straight forward, and installation was a snap. Came with preset probe which didn't need any tuning. The only problem I had was finding a constant 12volt ignition activated power source to plug the probe into in my classic Camaro. Relay runs the fan great and hides easily out of sight.

I've been using this kit for several years on my off road truck. It's hooked up to a powerful flex-a-lite fan and handles the load with ease. I have blown a couple fuses, but that only happens when crossing deep water. The install was very easy, and since there's only a couple parts it is very reliable. I've had the adjustable units fail once a little water or mud gets on them. This one can be mounted up and out of harms way. I will be getting a second unit for my daily driver pickup, so I'm happy to see they're still available.

The temp sensor for this thing would not work for my car. Make sure the sensor will be able to screw into your intake or some available water jacket spot.
