You can hear this flasher, but the sound is not overwhelming. I've had that problem before with a cheaper flasher. The amber lights on my swing-out sign seem a little brighter now with this new flasher, and the timing of the flashes seems just right. I'd buy it again!

Used this for a classic Jeep CJ that is loud going doing the road.... this helps so you can hear the "clicks" and directional is still on. Worked well for a loud auto.
