Another popular brand I was using had no anti-drain back valve. This is a good filter.

If the Motorcraft FL-1A isn't available then this filter is a good replacement. Built using most of the same methods that make the FL-1A a good filter. Isn't quite as large as the FL-1A but will hold almost 1 quart of oil.

If you look on the box, the Mobil One filters are rated at 30 micron particles which is typically that is quoted by lesser quality filters. Most quality filters are rated based on blocking 20 micron particles. The only positive thing about the Mobil One filters is the media is a synthetic blend so it will hold up longer if the filter is run over 5k miles (as many do when running synthetic oil). If running conventional oil, I have 435k miles on my Nissan truck and have always used Purolator Classic filters (now the standard Purolator Red filters) with 4k oil change intervals. For cars/trucks using synthetic oil, there are better choices like the the Purolator One or Purolator Boss filters all rated at 20 micron. Heck, even Fram rates their filters at 20 microns.
