My ohmeter shows it to be out of the specified resistance range for my year truck even though the site said it fits.
Tractor wouldn't start, even after installing new points and condenser. Put this new Universal 12 volt coil on my vintage John Deere 112 Lawn & Garden Tractor, and it started right up. Ordered and paid online, picked up at store. Couldn't be happier!
It works good, no problems.

i ran this coil on a new 2.3 with all new parts with the matching wires and cap. after one hour of run time it starts breaking down loss of power and final quit, cool the coil off and start over, will try one more before going to large racing coil. should it be a defective coil, but i was very dissapointed in it
Bottom Line not recommended
