Most vehicles will use an upper hose that goes from the radiator to the thermostat, and a lower hose that supplies coolant from the water pump to the radiator. A failed radiator hose can mean overheating and damage to your engine. We make finding a replacement radiator hose a breeze. Shop Advance for more than 3,000 varieties of coolant hoses from high-quality brands like Carquest®, ACDelco, Dayco®, and Goodyear®.
The radiator hoses are the pathways for coolant to flow from the hot engine to the radiator and then back to the engine. It's a fat hose that's formed to fit the radiator neck and the inlet on the engine (with a smaller hose at the bottom of the radiator) with a thick fabric-reinforced rubberized wall. Radiator hoses can last for a long time, but that doesn't mean they can't fail. If you find yourself needing to replace the radiator hose, remember to take a wire brush and thoroughly clean and remove corrosion from the hose necks, both on the radiator and engine inlet, and make sure the hose clamps are tight and secure.
