These work ok, but I do not see much improvement over the standard Sylvania halogen bulbs. I purchased these rather than silverstar or better because I was concerned the silverstar line would not last long given that my truck has daytime running lights and the lights are always on. Not sure I made the right choice.

This bulb description says that it fits the 2007 Kia Optima. However, this is NOT the correct item for it. The correct bulb is H7. I fail to understand how the website can say it is the correct item when it is not even remotely close. This item has a plastic fitting. The Optima uses just the bulb, whose flange sits in the holder. The flange is held down by a clip. This part is not even close. Advance Auto Parts should correct this error.

This headlight,part# 9006 was supposed to be an exact fit for my Forester but it did not fit. I went back to the store to exchange it for part R11. Even though it was the same brand of headlight, I was charged an additional $5 because the online discount didn't apply. As a result of ordering online, I had to make two trips to the store and it cost me an extra $5.00. It is very convenient using your web site when the right part is ordered.

bulbs have a life span. If one burns out, the other is probably due to expire also. Replacing in pairs insures both sides will appear the same. Don't finger the bulbs. Use a glove or only touch the plastic end.

I purchased the 2 pack of headlight bulbs and installed one so far. The new bulb seems much brighter with a longer beam. It was not difficult to install but the battery was in the way. I wish it would have been the passenger side with not obstructions. I purchased the bulbs on line and picked them up at the store with not problems. It was the way to go and I would recommend it to everyone. They had them waiting behind the counter and I just needed to sign the receipt for pick up. I did end up picking up son odds and ends.

It is not a replacement from the original car manufacturer but it is a direct replacement bulb. I recommend replacing both bulbs at once because when one bulb is replaced it is usually brighter than the other and it will save you from replacing the other bulb shortly down the road.Answered on 4/22/2010 by Mike from AAP
