Comments about Autolite Xp (Xtreme Performance) Iridium Enhanced Fine Wire Spark Plug:
I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T 5.7L HEMI. OEM plugs are Champion standard electrode..."change every 30,000 miles". Sorry, but I don't have time for that. I put 25,000+ miles or 2.5 hours/6 days a week. So, my point is I need something that will go more than 2 years on my car before I have to change it. Why? Because the awesome HEMI production team wanted 2 spark plugs per cylinder...so NOT 8 plugs but 16. I don't want to change spark plugs every year, bottom line. So I go with a minimum double platinum, or like this plug, iridium. Iridium is the second-densest element (after osmium) and is the most corrosion-resistant metal...on the planet! So I like it HARD, and NON-corrosive. And you should too ;) At least I think so!

Comments about Autolite Xp (Xtreme Performance) Iridium Enhanced Fine Wire Spark Plug:
Installed these on two vehicles:
2004 Saturn VUE 2.2 at @ 130k Miles (Mother in-law's).
2006 Saturn ION3 2.4 at @ 99k Miles (My wife's car).
-Driven 1 week:
The VUE sounded much better right away and it sure has power. Definitely needed the change... it still had the original plugs which looked fine for that many miles.
-Driven 2 weeks:
The ION did not sound different at startup, but I really noticed the difference on the highway on-ramps.
We may not see an improvement in gas mileage because we are enjoying the extra power from that little engine. It will take some time to see a real improvement.
So far we have not seen a decrease in gas mileage, and that is a major PLUS.
Average of 26mpg driving the north side of the Baltimore 695 Beltway during the rush hour parking lot.

I hope that helps.

I put these in a 1999 Dodge intrepid. I can feel the increase in engine performance. You dont want to just put 2 dollar plugs in your car. Go with the better or best plugs.
