olny down fall is there are no directions for install,if you are not familier with this products install,you could damage windsheild,as for product itself,very durable all steel,not like plastic parted company install,hope it lasts life of car.approx. 1 hr removel/re-install time,also be very carefull to make sure everything is in proper position before you bolt this on,olny wish auto builder would have installed a durable product such as this when in production,instead of component cantaining plastic.i would recomend this product to others.

I was surprised to see that this product was all metal. Most have plastic knuckles at the wiper stems which tend to break as mine did. As for this product. I did have to use a tapering drill bit to taper the hole that connects to the motor assembly. But all in all, it went right in. From start to finish, it took about 1 hour total.

Damaged threads so I installed the unit...had to remove it to repair the threads then re-install it a second time in the freezing cold!

The con really isn't a con, it's just that no instruction was provided. I learned by reinstalling that you have to align the off position of the wiper motor with the correct angle of the linkage.

The part is great one thing to think about is the wiper arms are very hard to get off. throw in a wiper arm puller and charge an extra $10.00. It would be a great. I may have cracked the windsheild getting the arms off on mine. all and all I feel like I saved about $300.00 doing it myself. The dealer wanted $400.00 to do this. Love the product. David
