Comments about 3M Window-Weld Super Fast Urethane - Black (10.5 fl. oz.):
I used this for my body kit. Works perfect! This joker is super sticky and will get all over the place if not careful. Use gloves or be like me with black hands for days on end.

Comments about 3M Window-Weld Super Fast Urethane - Black (10.5 fl. oz.):
Used standard caulking gun, note: do not need a huge opening to apply a good sized bead. Easy to make a mess if your not paying attention. Need two people to align the windshield (recommended) Plenty of time to work windshield into place. Might want to use rubber gloves during the process-this is from experience! Previously cleaned windshield around the edges with an acrylic-enamel paint reducer/thinner and it seemed to do a great job. I would definitly use this product again.
Comments about 3M Window-Weld Super Fast Urethane - Black (10.5 fl. oz.):
I purchased the product as it is exactly what I needed, acording to my service manual for glass replacement. Unfortunatly the product requires something other than a standard calking gun to apply. I returned the product unused so I cannot comment on the quality, but in general I have been please with 3m products I have used.

where can I find the "3m windo-weld primer" (3m # 08643) that this product says I must use with it ?3 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You should be able to find what you need for this project in one of our stores. I am not finding what you need listed online.A:
I had the same question today when i tried to purchase the window weld urathane. the employees were unaware of it requiring a primer. it should be pulled off the shelf until a solution is found, reason being water will seap past the glass and body if not properly bonded.A:
I was also at an Advance Auto Parts in Sayerville, NJ and the counter help was CLUELESS when I asked them for the primer. They suggested the primer was just a cleaner and I should just make sure the surface was clean before applying. From what I understand, this is an etching primer that "roughens" the glass surface for proper adhesion. Whats next? Selling batteries without acid ? Why don't you sell the primer ?
