Motor works good - manufacturer
Part works well though these have a manufacturer defect as they sometimes work backwards. Wires are swapped internally in the motor. Window up makes it go down, window down makes it go up. ...Read complete review
Part works well though these have a manufacturer defect as they sometimes work backwards. Wires are swapped internally in the motor. Window up makes it go down, window down makes it go up. Not a super big deal but FYI in case anyone else runs into this.
You can swap the wires on the harness on the car end but this will only solve the problem as long as this motor lasts. Same problem if you have to swap it again and get one that is internally wired correctly.
I just left mine the way it was (backwards) Wasn't worth the hassle of taking it back out and taking it back to try again for potentially the same result with another motor.

This part fits exactly, no hassle installation that took about half an hour. Works as well as original factory parts. Instructions don't say so, but it's a good idea to add a little loc-tite to the new mounting screws just so they don't come loose some time in the future and cause problems. Other than that, it's a great part at a great price.

The window motor installed fairly easily. I did refer to a helpful video online to ease the process. The difficulty was in removing the interior door panel with the least amount of broken clips.
I installed the motor in December and it is still working very well at this date at the end of March. It opens the window much faster than the original passenger-side window motor.

it was not something i would reccomend to the average do it your self mechanic. skill level is more difficult. product worked grat, though i wasn,t able to use my 50. dollar credit fom my previous purchase.

A:
Drill out the rivets and slide out the regulator. Replace with 1/4-20 bolts. Use Locktite on bolts.
Motor is also riveted to the regulator. These are also drilled out and replaced with machine screws.
WARNING: The regulator is spring loaded. Restrain it with a bolt or similar. Otherwise, it will close like scissors on your fingers when you remove the motor.Answered on 3/13/2010 by Al from Orlando, FLA:
