Comments about Felpro Valve Cover Gasket Set:
I have used this and similar Fel-Pro gasket sets on numerous Honda vehicles with excellent results every time. I have found that these gaskets fit and perform as well as the much highrer priced factory sets. I have always found Fel-Pro gaskets to be high quality dependable parts if they are installed correctly on the vehicle they are intended for.

Comments about Felpro Valve Cover Gasket Set:
I put the grommets and valve seals on just fine but then when it came time to put the new valve gasket on.. it seemed too big, I put it on anyways only to have it start leaking when I turned on the car. I put the old gasket back on which seems to be working okay.

Comments about Felpro Valve Cover Gasket Set:
This set includes everything needed for the valve cover. Definitely a good idea to replace all seals when doing a timing belt job. This will fix the oil splashing you may find on your spark plug wires/ oil on top of the spark plug.

Q:
Is there any need to apply a gasket sealant on the gasket itself?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, you can apply gasket sealer on the engine mating surface approximately 1/8 inch thick covering the entire surface. Wipe off any excess around the edges. Let the sealer set a few minutes and get slightly tacky and then place the gasket on, lining up the holes on the gasket with those on the engine block. Apply a thinner layer of sealer on the top side of the gasket. Wipe off any excess sealer and let set a little bit to get tacky.Q:
do the spark plug seals goinside or outside the valve cover1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The Spark plug seals goes inside the valve cover. You have to remove the splash pan to replace the spark plug seals, which can be very tedious.Q:
I bought this and the main gasket is not black. Should it be black like the picture in the website. I know it probably does not matter but I am starting to wonder if it is really the same part since it is not black like your site shows it to be.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Picture is not an application specific. It is designed to be high quality direct fit replacements for stock valve cover gaskets.Q:
i have a 1997 Honda accord LX sedan.the engine # is F22B2-2.2L SOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder. i trying to figure out where does the O-rings go, is it goes under the spark plugs or above?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The o-rings you have should go under the valve cover at the spark plug opening. The set also has new grommets for the nuts that hold the cover on.Q:

how do you replace the spark plug seals on a 1992 honda accord. I have know how to do the valve cover gasket but I don't know how to get to the Spark plug tube seals????1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You should be able to pull the valve cover off and the seal should come off the valve cover and replace them then put it back together.Q:
how do keep the o rings from sliding out of there area?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You can use any permatex gasket maker or sealer to hold the o-rings.
