For use on Nissans, Toyotas and other OHC engines
This wrench is designed with grooved pins to hold the camshaft pulley stationary while loosening and tightening the center shaft bolt While useful on most Asian overhead cam engines, it is most needed on transverse mounted V6 engines such as the VG30 used in Nissan Maximas, as well as, the 3VZFE and lMZFE engines used in Toyota Camrys. The rear pulleys on these models are in very close proximity to the shock tower making removal and replacement difficult without this locking device.Â

Used on crankshaft and camshaft pulleys on 2000 Toyota Avalon 1MZFE 6cyl engine. Worked like a charm, long enough to use from above or below and have plenty of leverage.

This is the tool you need to hold the cam sprocket so that you can loosen cam bolt and remove cam. This tool is very heavy duty. It needs to be! Works like a charm and you need it for breaking the bolt loose due to crazy amount of force needed. This is a " no messing around" tool that got the job done in literally less than 3 seconds. Buy this tool.
