this is a great, all around exhaust. it's very affordable for the "class" it's in. if you want a sporty tone but dont want to draw attention, then this one is for you. it has the same note that many mufflers 10-20 times the price have!! even works as a replacement or a restro. sounds good with all engine sizes from 4-8 cylinders... no need for a second thought espically at the price!

I was looking to increase sound, performance, and fuel economy on my '99 SL2, and of course the stock exhaust was one of the first on the chopping block. I didn't want to throw a lot of money into it, so I shopped around and found Thrush to be the best deal. I did my own 2" cat-back with the 2" thrush turbo, and it sounds awesome!
Things to note:
-The sound does change to a smoother tone some from initial installation after one or two thousand miles. Give time to judge the sound.
-The true "Turbo" sound does not come out with the vehicle's stock resonator. A resonator delete or an aftermarket one will give a much better tone.
Overall, this is an excellent muffler, and I am very satisfied with my purchase!

My 89 Camry's muffler rotted, this muffler is a low cost replacement. Had to modify to hold up muffler since its not OEM, The sound is great.

Easy to install, buy the clamps at the store, unless you want to weld them together. Also, have a hacksaw ready to help cut the old bands off when preping the new install.

Used this muffler to replace the stock unit on my Cherokee that was so loud it made 50+mph really loud in the cab. The universal flow allowed for quick and easy installation and the sound is great without being overpowering.

i bought this muffler as an inexpensive replacement on my 97 explorer-it is not a direct fit you have to purchase an extension pipe to attach the tailpipe as this muffler is about 12 inches shorter than stock. installation is no big deal-took about 30 minutes,this muffler is just as quiet as stock-you would not know it was a thrush muffler unless i told you-happy with the purchase as the price was right.
