Comments about Imperial Transmission Oil Cooler Hose:
I purchased this after I found a leak in my transmission cooler line on my Grand Cherokee. The dealer only supplied the entire part for over one hundred bucks whereas I only needed the tube. I cut this to size and it's the exact thickness as the OEM. The tube is cheap and got the job done. The leak is gone but most of the money is still in my wallet.

Q:
what is the best way to connect the transmission hose to the metal line without it seperating?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
With reference to this Imperial Transmission Oil Cooler Hose - part# 248001, for connecting the transmission hose to the metal line, flare the steel line before slipping on the rubber hose, it helps to keep the hose from blowing off. Cut your old lines in an easy area to get to, use a tubing cutter, slip on the compression fitting, and tighten it, then slide your rubber hose over the barbed end and clamp it on. For any further assistance, please visit your nearest Advance Auto store or call us directly at 1-877-ADVANCE (238-2623) and one of our representatives there would be more than happy to assist you.Q:
