Functionally, these terminals don't provide any additional advantage over standard metal terminals. However, the color coating on the terminals adds a nice look to the engine bay, may reduce corrosion and provides a small amount of mistake proofing.

The terminals expanded enough to accommodate two heavy gauge junctions on my '93 Jeep GC for each of the terminals.

Comments about Autocraft Top Post Coated Terminal:

The valley to stiock the positive wires through is very small. I couldn't get all 3 wires to go through...so I had to leave off the wire for my amp.
I have been having slower starts and issues with it trying to die after installing this product. I put in a brand new alternator before this-with my old connector-& everything ws fine til I switched connectors

        worked for me

Comments about Autocraft Top Post Coated Terminal:

Needed to replace corroded and broken battery cable clamps on my home standby generator. These were easy to attach and fit the top battery posts better than the original clamps. The black and red colored coating adds a nice touch.

Comments about Autocraft Top Post Coated Terminal:

This is a good quality replacement for old, worn out terminals. Works as expected. I've had others that crack or break on first install, and no complaints about these. They're painted red for positive and black for negative which is a nice added touch. Not really necessary but helps eliminate confusion, especially if you let other people work on your vehicles. I bought a few sets of these, and all are unpainted in the important areas; where the cables/wires and terminals meet for a good clean metal to metal contact.

Comments about Autocraft Top Post Coated Terminal:

While the negative terminal worked fine, the positive terminal didn't make good conductivity between the post and wires. Thus, the car wouldn't turn over (with either old or new battery). Put another terminal in and car started up fine with old battery still.

I had to buy a set of these to put new connections on our tractor since we did a 12 volt conversion on it and the cables had the wrong ends on it now. This was cheaper than buying two new cables with the right ends. Everynow and then you might get one that might break when tightening cable down but these worked perfect for me!
