Comments about BWD Throttle Position Sensor:
First off there was the discount for ordering online, saving me money. Then the part was waiting for me on the counter of my local store when I walked in the door, saving me time. The part itself looked and fit like the OEM part and has been functioning flawlessly since being installed, saving me additional headaches. The entire experience went smooth as silk. Oh, and did I mention the price was very competitive - even before the online discount?! I'll be back again when the need arises, and so will the people that I've told about my experiences with Advance Auto Parts.

Q:
My Jeep only starts in neutral, and not in park could this sensor be the probleum?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The throttle position sensor may be the possible cause of the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.Q:
were is the throttle position sensor located at in car1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The throttle position sensor is located near the throttle body and can be located under the car hood near the throttle mechanism.Q:
where is this located and what tools are needed?1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The throttle position sensor should be located on the throttle valve assembly. It is a small, black rectangular box with a thin black cord attached to its side and it requires Mechanic's toolset, including a full socket set, wrenches and screwdrivers.Q:
Is this part relatively easy to install DIY ?2 answers

Yes it should be easy with basic tools. make sher engine is cooled down so you dont burn urself.A:
Piece of cake if you have the correct connector/terminal. the late model year Jeeps use these sensors and they are nonadjustable so its plug and play. (see my review on this product)
