Only having them on my truck (2003 Chevy Suburban 1500) about a week, I can't speak for longevity, but so far they're great. I paired them with new Bosch Quietcast rotors. They were packaged well and the printed information included was well done. The hardware included fit great and was easily applied with no modifications needed. The pads themselves slid into the brackets easily and fit well into the caliper with no issues noted. The packaging says not to use brake lube ( I used Permatex Extreme Ceramic lube-purple) on the pad backs, so I only put it on the end tabs that slide along the hardware. Driving around has been great with no issues of noise, chatter, etc. Great brake pads that I will definitely choose again!

'06 Avalanche I'm really picky with. Bought it with 33,000 miles and it had all new brakes already. 2 years later (45,000 mi.) I'm thinking they should be getting pretty worn so I ordered an entire set (4 wheels) of these expensive Thermo Quiet. Eventually the rears were getting down so I installed them. Here I am now, I've now put 80,000 total on this truck (about 35,000 on the Thermo Quiets on the rear) and they're all worn down already and cracked! The front pads I STILL haven't had to replace yet...over 80,000 and they're still passing state inspection. I'd love to know what those are! Meanwhile, the entire past 2 years with the TQ on the rear, whenever the truck sat in the rain they'd squeal every time I stopped. Bottom line, they aren't THAT quiet, they didn't hold up, now I'm buying brakes and rotors again, I'm getting something else...anyone want an unused front set??

Comments about Wagner ThermoQuiet® Brake Pads - Rear:
Wagnerproduct performance and quality was excellent. The ThermoQuiet® Brake Pads - Rear by Wagner were superior to any other pads I have used. I always have a problem with pads binding on the calliper brackets. The Wagners slid right onto the stailess guides and were snug but did not bind.

Just the feel of the brakes makes me glad I spent the little extra money instead of always getting the cheapest replacements. Bet they will last longer too.
