Comments about Hoppy Taillight Converter:
Good stuff! Easy to install. No more blown fuses, trailer lights work like a champ now! The only thing I didn't like were the cheap blue wire connectors that sometimes didn't pierce the wire correctly, but they do provide electrical contact grease, connector cap/cover, and even a 12V tester,COOL!

Comments about Hoppy Taillight Converter:
I bought this product for my 2005 Acura RL based on the compatibility feature on the website. This part is not compatible with my car. My car has LED taillights and this part is for cars with regular taillights. To be fair, all other automotive sites that carry this part, including the manufacturer, say this is correct part for my vehicle... which is not the case. It ended up affecting my cruise control and would cause it to terminate whenever I would signal left or right. I ended up exchanging it for part #48895 from the same manufacturer based on their recommendation and it has been working well so far. This may be an isolated case, but if you have LED taillights on your vehicle, do not get this part.

Easy to install. You don't have to be a mechanic or electrician to install on your compact or full size truck.

I have had a Hoppy model 46155 on my motor home for two years. I went out today to check my lights and found my right turn signal did not work. I had power coming into the female end but no power coming out going to my tow vehicle. I went to advance auto and purchased a new Hoppy 46155 and it did the same thing. It could be the actual prongs in the female connector but to be more accurate i would recommend that you take your vehicle to your local mechanic.Q:
does this wire behind the taillight or underneath the vehicle1 answer
A:
You would splice the wires inside the trunk, behind the tail lights.
