Comments about Moog Sway Bar Link Kit:
Used to replace stock links and bushings on 95 Ford Explorer XLT 2WD. they were easy to install and markedly improved handling and control and ride comfort.
Make sure you only tighten them until the bushings START expanding outward and loosen them a quarter turn.

Comments about Moog Sway Bar Link Kit:
Easy to install. Look up video on YOU TUBE. got rid of the "shake, rattle and roll!" My stock ones were hard as rocks and I heard constant rattle when driving. Replaced the sway bar bushings that hold it to the frame as well. This project was worth the money! If your bushings are old and hard you will feel a big difference!!!

Comments about Moog Sway Bar Link Kit:
Since getting my truck (2002 Ford Ranger XLT)I was concerned about how much it wallowed around in corners. I climbed under to take a look and there were no bushings or washers!!! The bolts were tight so I know that the bushings don't just fall off. Having about 4'' of play in your sway bar links can ruin your day. So I ordered this kit online and drove right to the store to pick them up.
They had them waiting for me. VERY, VERY fast and friendly bunch of guys working there.
The only problem was the new bolts are on the short side and it was easyer to reuse the original bolts that where on in the frist place.
Truck now handles good as new.

Comments about Moog Sway Bar Link Kit:
Replaced both stock sway bar links with these moog and I am impressed by the quality! The original sway bar link were a terrible design with hard plastic covering a thin metal rod that rusted from the inside, I actually broke both of the trying to get them off. I put these on and made a big difference in the way my explorer handled turns and bumps in the road!!

Comments about Moog Sway Bar Link Kit:
The Moog links look to be a lot more substantial than the originals. They cost about twice as much as some others but they are probably worth it.
After installation, the clunking and bumping noises went away.

Q:
Installing Moog K7275 on 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 2WD 4.0 OHV Automatic. What is the correct factory torque value for tightening this kit? Thanks.1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
With reference to your inquiry on the Moog Sway Bar Link Kit - part# K7275, on your Ford Explorer the OEM style end links are a long bolt that goes through the bushings at the bar as well as the bushings at the control arm and the nut is on the underside of the control arm. The nut should be torqued to 21-29 Nm or 15-21 lb/ft. However, I would suggest you to refer your vehicle owner's manual for the exact torque specifications in order to avoid intermittence. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.Q:
