Nice product, very heavy duty forged steel part. Much better than the cheap hollow tubular part GM supplies as original equipment. The only downside is that it is made in China, but I guess everything seems to be made in China these days. Overall I am very happy with the new sway bar as it has improved the stability of the car.

Pay close attention to which way the part is installed. Read the tag attached to the bar which identifies the driver side end. The bar will not fit if it is installed reversed. Depending on the application it may be necessary to remove items such as tie rods to gain adequate clearance.

I'm a novice at auto repair and was able to install the sway bar. It was a little difficult getting in place. It's bends were a little different than the original and I initially put it in the wrong direction. Once corrected everthing went smoothly.

Sway bar is solid vs. the hollow original bar. It was nice to have the link pin kit(included) because when we removed the old ones they broke because of rust. It was a little tricky to get new bar in but were able to do so without dropping engine carriage. All in all it took about 2 hours to install. Would have taken less if we had all the right tools(as usual). Also was best price I found anywhere.

Heavier solid bar compared to O.E.M Part(which is a rolled hollow steel bar)Also O.E.M part costs Twice as much or more. Also If you install it yourself the vehichle has to be at least 2 feet off the ground

Very nice upgrade from stock bar a little difficult to install by yourself recommend at least 2 people to install the bar. I did have to lower the engine cradle quite a bit for the bar to slide through. Also if your end links have never been out you may have to cut them or torch them out. But very nice bar

this was the second vehicle i installed this product on. this time the bar was marked wrong so when i installed it, it was backwards and upside down. this made me not very happy cause i had to take it back apart. this leaves a sore spot with me and have to think twice about buying from advanced auto, hope this was a one time event i do enjoy your products, pricing, and avaibility!!

YOU SHOULD HAVE THAT CAR JACKED UP AND WHEELS OFF. DEPENDING ON YOUR SKILL. YOU MAY HAVE TO DISCONNECT THE STEERING SHAFT AND LOWER THE SUB-FRAME IN THE REAR.Answered on 6/6/2010 by HELPER77 from QUAKERTOWN, PAA:
first of all press your e brake down then put the car on jack stands on both sides take your tires off cut the bolts off at the wheels usea saws-all or a torch they will be rusted and will be a pain then take your 15mm socket and go as far as you can with it and then you have to use a wrench and take the frame bushing out take all the old bushings off then wiggle it out of either side and you will have the old one out .............now feed the new one in one side makes no differance which side when you get it in position the bolts ats the wheels nut side coming up with nut on top replace those bushings in the same order they were on the old one DO NOT TIGHTEN THEM the bushing at the frame put those on you may have to use a pry bar th line everything up now you can tighten those at the frame so before you tighten the bolts at the wheels do both sides of the bushings at the frame and when you have that done finish tighten the bolts at the wheels and thats itAnswered on 6/23/2010 by KEEF from St Louis Mo
