Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Doing work on an '85 Regal, and she doesn't get driven much, so went with the cheap part. Big mistake. Only a few more dollars for the Moog. Hardware kit is dangerous and if you plan to use this part, please upgrade the hardware to 8 grade, since the supplied 4.8 grade stripped the threads out while finger tightening. Very low quality. But, if you're selling the car or don't have the cash, cheap options are attractive. Just plan to replace it again soon. :)

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

It was a good ball joint and it fit in my Chevy Astro van with no problem. I had to use my own bolts because the ones that came with it stripped. Also the big nut stripped as well so I just reused the old one.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

i bought theses and mounted them with the bolts supplied but they stripped. no big deal. then when i was tightening the castle nut with a torque wrench the threads failed at 45 ft lbs. i got a replacement from the same brand and it again failed at 47 ft lbs this time. i know its not my torque wrench being out of whack because it fell right back out of the knuckle when i undid the nut. i went nd got the moog ball joint which worked fine.

Comments about Driveworks Suspension Ball Joint:

Balljoint itself seems to be good quality. Beware of the hardware given to mount it. Putting it together the bolts stripped out on me. Had to go with highest grade bolts, loctite, and Nylock nuts to be safe. 4 out of 5.
