i have replaced my radiator, waterpump, upper and lower radiator hoses, and thermostat. my truck leaks antifreeze out the upper radiator hose where it connects to radiator what is causing this?1 answer
A:
could be a loose retaining ring or you can check for a crack near the hose entranceQ:
I have a 2003 GMC Sonoma crewcab with the Vortec 4.3L V6 (195HP) engine. Trying to find thermostat and coolant temperature sensor locations. I followed the upper radiator hose to the engine. The radiator hose connects to a plastic tube then proceeds to a metal plate with two screws holding it to the engine. I don't see a housing as explained to me many times. Is the thermostat under the metal triangular plate with the two screws? Also then where would the coolant temp. sensor be? I think there are two different 4.3-liter engines. Mine I believe is the 195 HP engine. Hope someone can help! Thanks!1 answer
