Appears to be a good gauge, but I am having a problem with locating it in right spot. The mount just isn't quite universal enough to fit just any where on or under the dash, also the wire to the coil is short and I had to splice.

I needed a tach while I worken on my old Tic Toc Tach. This is an inexpensive tach that is a quick install and works fine. It is a little small to read, but will do. I used in in a car with breaker points, and car with HEI, and back in the car with breaker points I replaced with a Pertronix I. No problems at all.

will this tach work on a 1991 Kawasaki EL250E? the tach originally on the bike was smashed. only a black/yellow, black, and brown wire were actually connected to the tach other than two lights and a temperature L.E.D.
