Monroe Strut-Mate mounting kits are direct fit replacements designed to complement the ride control characteristics of Monroe struts. In addition, our full line will provide you with late model original equipment coverage. When doing strut replacements, it is important to do the complete job. This means not only replacing the struts but also inspecting and replacing worn strut mounts. Remember, worn strut mounts can adversely affect a vehicle's safety and handling. Not only are strut mounts a necessary component of the suspension system, they consist of rubber to metal bonded parts that wear out over time as well. Worn bearings may also cause noise, steering binding, vibration and vehicle pull. Strut-Mate mounting kits can include*: Strut Mount, Bearing, Upper Spring Isolator, Lower Spring Isolator, or Upper Spring Seat. (*as applicable by OE design)

This product has an excellent design, being a convex bushing with a concave washer, wrapping around eachother and providing even distribution of force across the components. Thick, perfect fit on a 1/2" strut. Used on a 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 with Spax strut upgrade and Eibach springs, but will most likely fit a normal setup.

This is the proper part according to the monroe listing but the rubber bushings are 1/2 the width then they are suppose to be. When mounting on the top of the strut there is too much of a gap, This is a bad fit.

Product is right for the job, but does not come with installation instructions and tells you to look at the instructions from the struts that are not sold with the mounts. You'll get a better idea on installing them from the old ones you remove even though you can see how some what in the strut instruction on how to install them. The parts are great and function great.

When i opened the box i found no instructions with new parts on which way to install bushings so you have to pay close attention to how you dismantle struts for reassembly
